2 Ingredient Banana Muffins

Finished banana/chocolate chip muffins

I personally LOVE practically anything banana flavored/enhanced, anything really!!

Banana bread being a huge weakness! So when I found a 2 ingredient banana muffin recipe I ran to the store right then. Super simple, quick and easy, overall, totally recommend!

Lets begin!

Banana muffin ingredients

To begin, you only need two things, bananas and yellow cake mix. In the blog post I found this from, she suggested adding cinnamon so it made me think of what else I could add. I decided to try out chocolate chips to cure this sweet tooth! I also think walnuts would be great! Before starting would be the perfect time to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Banana muffin step 1

Quickly mash up your bananas into a bowl. I was doing this in a rush so I had a few chunks of banana but it made the end result great!!

Banana muffin step 2

Next add in the cake mix and your add ins of choice. It will begin to be very thick and more dough like.

Banana muffin step 3

Coat your muffin Tin with either cupcake liners or a good trusty cooking spray and fill them up! With using 4 medium sized bananas I had a total of 16 muffins. The last 4 that I baked, I did not take a photo of but were ten times better with a few chocolate chips sprinkled on top!!

Pop these into the oven for about 18 minutes but I would recommend checking before then based on how your oven bakes!

These muffins didn’t make it to the next day, that’s how good they were! My roommates all just kept throwing them in the microwave for about 20 seconds and eating them all night.
